Natural ghost photo's

What is a Natural Ghost Photo? Simply put it is a photo that is taken and believed to be paranormal in nature, when actually it is caused by natural occurrence easily explained by science.

Below I have started a collection of photo's we have captured at our various ghost hunts. ALL of these photo's are caused by natural phenomenon and are easily explained by scientific means.

Taken in Old Town Yuma here is a dust orb photo. A little breeze (less than 5mph and poof instant orb party)

Not Dust this time Humidity YES even in the desert. the grave site in question is being watered by a drip system BLUE tint to the orb is the giveaway. Water evaporating into the air causing water orbs.

The photo's above taken in old town great mist NO smoke notice the blue tenge to the mist it is cigarette smoke. Orb in the window of the right picture is caused by reflection of the flash on the window.

How do I tell the difference between a paranormal orb and dust? The easiest way I have found it to load the photo in a picture editor (I use Asee Dsee but any editor will do) and zoom in on the suspect orb at least 400% a true orb will keep its round shape while a dust or other orb will either go octagonal or triangular or square. By the way if you are taking photo's with a Sony Mavica the triangle orbs you get are dust. They are triangular due to the shape of the lens.

Here is a original untouched photo from the Cemetery notice the bright orb by the cross that's the one we will be looking at.

Same photo but it is loaded in to the image editor and zoomed in on the orb 500% notice how the orb in question is taking on a octagonal shape ? This tells me it is dust and is reflecting off my lens.

Here is a photo taken by Investigator JJ Schooley notice the bright white orb to the right this is the one we will be looking at.

Same photo loaded into the image editor and zoomed in 500% notice how the orb is keeping its round shape this tells me it is a true orb of paranormal origin.

A spirit Vortex NO taken by Assistant Director JJ Schooley it is in fact the cord that holds the lens cap on the camera.

Once again it pays to be aware of what is going on in your environment.

Bright orbs NO Dust on the lens the dead give away is that the specks are in focus while the image in the back ground is out of focus a tale tale sign that the anomaly is natural the camera is seeing it and has focused on it.
