Exceptions

Museum which is climate controlled and has forced air heating remained steady in all areas at 71 to 72 degrees

The Dark Cell Due to being thick walled with one entrance and a vent in the top, being the equivalent of a tunnel the dark cell temperature ranged from 68 degrees at the start of the investigation to 61 degrees buy the end of the investigation. The temperature dropped steadily and normally throughout the night.

EMF (Electro Magnetic Fields)

EMF readings were steady thorough out the night as follows

Cell block all areas 2mg or below

Museum 3mg or below with the exception of the hallway by the men’s restroom

Front park area 2mg or below

Investigation Notes

At the time of our investigation no activity of Paranormal nature was recorded during the Yuma Spirit Hunters. There were 3 orb photo’s taken to being caused by dust particles and one being caused by moisture from humidity.

Investigator Swain did record an EMF spike to 7mg in the hallway by the mens restroom however on further investigation the cause for the EMF spike was found to be a large copy machine on the other side of the wall along the hallway.

Set up of the equipment was completed by 0030 and tear down began at 0300 areas covered were the main cell block including the dark cell and passage ways between cells the museum  all areas covered with monitored cameras were not contaminated with investigators presence during the actual investigation.

It is the conclusion of the Yuma Spirit Hunters team that the Territorial Prison was NON ACTIVE and will be classified as NOT HAUNTED at this time

It is our belief that the reports of haunting at the prison are place or residual hauntings which are an imprint of an activity and play back through time this would explain why the reported haunting activity has steadily decreased thorough the years.
